Magic Tricks Revealed By A Shocking Mentalist

So the other night, I was hanging out at home. You know those nights when you are just happy to just sit in front of the TV with a bag of chips, and a six pack of your favorite liquid refreshment? That's the kind of night I was looking forward to. I had no idea it would turn into such a powerhouse of mental imagery and a dance on the edge of reality.

My friends showed up, and said they were dragging me to this place to see magic tricks revealed, whatever that means. They swore this guy was somehow connected to the other side. Something about their enthusiasm, or the way they were radiating this weird psychic energy made me pause, for a little bit, but I soon couldn't help myself.

You know when you see something, and you start to really feel this, and you have this sinking suspicion that there is much more going on here than you can even begin to imagine? That's exactly what that night was like. Just pure strangeness.

So we all piled in my friends pickup truck. It was one of those trucks that seats several people, with two rows of seats. In the back was this DVD player, and we were watching some mentalist do all these wicked magic tricks. He was very good, and I was surprised that I'd never seen him before.

He started doing these really cool mentalist tricks, where he would pretend to read people's minds, and act like he was speaking to spirits and stuff. I was pretty sure it was all fake, as I don't really believe in psychic tricks or anything like that.

After that he did some really good vanishing tricks, where he made stuff just completely disappear form thin air, and reappear in different parts of the stage. Of course, since it was on DVD, I was pretty sure that it was set up some how. The camera never really scanned the audience, so for a while I thought maybe it was even a studio job.

Then my hold on reality started to really melt. The guy on the DVD in my friends pick up truck started saying that he was expecting some special guests. And I could see all the people in the audience look back at the door, as if they were expecting some big shot to come in.

My friend, who was busy fiddling with his cell phone all of a sudden wanted to re watch one of the earlier tricks, so we had to skip back to the part. But by the time we finished watching it, we had arrived at this place where we were going to see this wicked magic show.

We got out of the car, and walked into this weird auditorium that looked like it had been converted from a barn or something. Right when we walked in it hit me.

The place we were standing in, was exactly the same as on the DVD. And all the people that were turned around looking at us were all wearing the exact same things they'd been wearing on the DVD.

"Thanks for pausing the DVD," said the magician in front.

"I hate having to bend reality like that."

Then he walked up to me, put his hands on both sides of my head, and started sucking all the information out of my brain.

He told me things that would be impossible to know. Things I'd forgotten. Things I didn't even know that I knew, I suddenly remembered learning. And he looked at me with this really strange look.

"We're just getting started..." he said.
